The theatre that I work in has a nurse named Sarah who died tending to people during the cholera epidemic. She appears to staff members who are sick. She's a pleasant apparition, and only tries to help. Unless you tease people for believing in her, then she'll knock something over. I've seen at least two glasses go from sitting still on a perfectly level bar (with no one within 5 feet) slide off the end and crash on the floor.
The country club that I worked as a waiter in throughout HS and college sat on the site of a home that burned down in the 1800's taking with it a husband and wife and their child. Other staff reported aromas, floral for the wife, cigar for the husband (long after smoking had been banned). The child seemed to take an interest in me. One evening I was closing the private dining room (in the oldest part of the building) and the bus girl told me that she was going downstairs... I told her to wait just a minute... She looked at me and said "What!? Are you afraid of the ghoooooost?!" Just as she put the T on ghost, a light fixture over her head sparked to life and immediately went out. Now, that might have seemed normal in an old building, but that fixture was purely decorative... it didn't even have wiring any more.
That being said... I love fun house horror type places. Especially if the actors are good. For our honeymoon, my wife and I went to Universal Studio's Halloween Horror Nights, which was a blast... each of the areas was very cool!
