Ever worked on a song/monologue and thought to yourself, "Wow! I'm pretty good!"?

Not exactly, but in high school I was in a play in which I had less than a month to rehearse (I was called in to take over the lead role). When I won an award for the part, it surprised me because up until that point I always felt I wasn't as strong an performer as the other actors in my school. It was truly the moment when I realised, "Wow, I am good!" (:

With singing, there's always room for amazement. I think that's part of performing, you're always growing and realizing that you have all this wonderful talent which only gets better over time.

Lost In Yonkers Bella Monologue she does at the end of the show when she is telling Grandma (her mom) she wants to have babies and marry Johnny. I want to play that role SO incredibly bad when I am the right age. That monologue is my treasure and I feel I do it justice. I brought it into an acting class once.. Me being the youngest and the rest were 30 somethings and I did it and to my shocked eyes people were crying. But other than that I am usually not obnoxious and cocky about how amazing i am lol.

The first time I sang a high soprano song (Out of My Dreams from Oklahoma).

It was an assignment in my musical theatre class. I had never attempted the notes before, and it turned out to be easy for me, and I'm pretty good at it. Now I always sing soprano, and I'm really proud :) :)
