What age range do you play?
You'll be able to use these shots for 3-4 years if you don't change too much.

your hair looks good there! Kinda boy next door look going on! The way i see it the headshot is an extension to the audience of your true personality... so just have shots done that show YOU!

I play 16-20 but am almost 24 lol
If you're in that age range with this hairstyle, then keep it. You're very marketable.

you're 24? geesh, someone had an easy paper round!
Rath is right. You are marketable- and you'll get cast younger than you are. (For God's sake, I'm 30 and just got called in to play 17. THAT was ridiculous.)
You might want one shot with the shaggier look, and maybe another with it combed to the side, or kind of spikey.

Beer? I'm confused...paper round?
Oh Lord. I will pray for you.
You asked, ok?
I'd try to get a shorter, more contemporary cut--it looks a bit old-fashioned and midwestern-ish. You have alot of hair in your face and you look like a tall guy, which is a RARE and good thing here in NYC. I'd cut it to pull hair away from your face, giving you more height--I hesitate to say get a spiky cut cause it's a little old-fashioned now too. It will also sharpen your features and make you look older (if need be).
Try (i know it's embarassing) to find a Teen People or Young Miss magazine for ideas or just go to a stylish salon and ask them to give you something hip or bring a pic. Details and Cargo are also good magazines for fashion.

An expression we northern brits use. If someone looks older than they are we say they had a hard paper round... it also works in reverse as shown above.
A paper round... paper route? Delivering newspapers to peoples homes!
I wouldn't cut it if the cut is going to make you look older. Keep that adult-who-can-play-teens thing going. Use it while you can.

Can yall post pictures with recommended hairstyles...it would be greatly appreciated since I am paying 350.00 just for the photography shoot itself. I am off to rehearsals but will be back on later...please have me some ideas :)
Maybe for my Broadway Legend Post...i will post my headshots/publicity photos :)
Well, if he's 6'2" there's only so young he'll look--if you're going to be in NYC you're going to be especially tall--so you might want to keep it longer so you look younger--otherwise, you'll be playing parents and older people--i'm 5'6" and at 31, I'm still playing kids cause i'm a little guy. Men on average are pretty short here. (I'm from Texas)
I just thought your cut was a little suburban is all. How straight is your hair? It looks like my lil bro's hair--which was like a broom. Short cuts might make you look fuzzy-headed.
