Help with how to resell concert tickets

I have 2 tickets to see the Lady Gaga concert at MSG. However, now that me and my bf are broken up, I'd like to sell these tickets and use that money to buy a really good ticket. Could anyone give me advice on how to best sell the tickets and on what site. Also, if I should wait until I resell mine before getting a new one. Thanks!

Your main choices are generally CraigsList, StubHub or Ebay. CraigsList is obviously free, whereas Ebay and StubHub will get a small commission for your listing. StubHub and Ebay will offer you more protection -- not having to meet the buyer in person, not having to worry about a check bouncing (were you willing to accept a check). Before listing it, checck all those sites to see what prices people are asking for similar seats. If you list yours for even a couple of dollars less, you're probably more likely to sell them. Then again, if they're primo high-demand seats which are in a sold out section, you might be able to make a little extra.

^^^All that, with the addition of Seatgeek.com

When I've been on the buying side of the transaction, I've usually found more options at Seatgeek than StubHub, which leads me to think it might be better on the selling side as well, although I can't speak to the specific terms offered by either site to ticket sellers.

If you bought them through Ticketmaster, you can resell your tickets through them. I'm not sure if it is every concert, but I have seen it quite a bit.
