Well there is finally some news on the grandbaby front! Got a call about 20 minutes ago from Anna to let us know that her water had just broke.. So now we wait but there will Lizzie shoul be here quite soon!

Ok folks more news. Anna is already at the hospital, I'll be heading in around 9:00. Just sent Dave off to work, hope he'll be alright... Things are quite happy here at the moment.

I feel like we've been waiting for forever for this little one to make her appearance! The best to you and your family!

Hopefully by now Lizzie has arrived safe and sound and your daughter is feeling wonderful and you've held your grandchild for the first time...enjoy every precious moment!

In honor of Lizzie - this was a favorite poem of mine when I was little (my Nana used to read it to me, so I thought it was fitting to share)...


God made the world with its towering trees,
majestic mountains and restless seas,
then paused and said, "It needs one more thing."
Someone to laugh and dance and sing,
to walk in the woods and gather flowers,
to commune with nature in quiet hours.
So God made little girls
with laughing eyes and bouncing curls,
with joyful hearts, and beautiful smiles,
enchanting ways and feminine wiles.
And when He'd completed the task He'd begun,
he was pleased and proud of the job He'd done.
For the world when seen through a little girl's eyes
greatly resembles paradise.
