I love that chariacture (did I just butcher that?) in the background of the first picture. Keep 'em coming!
I find it a tad depressing that there are only the three of us on this thread!! I mean I love you guys, but come on...if this was an Idina thread, it would be 40 pages by now...

Actually, Karen's husband might be considered "hot", if you like silver-haired gents in their late 50's.
Karen was brilliant in STEEL PIER. The score and choreography were terrific. Unfortunately, the script and direction were lousy.
Steel Pier - saw it three times - it was a mess. Karen worked her a** off every night, the physical demands on her were incredible. The emotional demands, we can't imagine. That show was supposed to be her showcase, her breakthrough.
Instead, who broke through with it? From out of nowhere, a tiny blonde who blew the house down with her one song in the second act. Kristin Chenoweth got what should have been Karen's star turn in Steel Pier.
I love Karen.
I had the pleasure of spending a lot of time with her while she worked on Ayckbourn's House and Garden at Geva in Rochester, NY.
She was so charming, and delighful. She deserves every single accolade that is lauded on her.
Now... with her and John Bolton (another Geva alum) starring in Opposite of Sex my 2 degrees of seperation from the delightful Kerry Butler is just that more sweet.
"She was so charming, and delighful. She deserves every single accolade that is lauded on her."
Yes, yes, and yes.
