re: Hi

Erin - when I lived at the Grand Canyon, I used to hop around all over the rocks along the rim - so my nickname there among some of my friends was 'billygoat' re: Hi I like having that in common already!

re: Hi

no no it was a happy cry. it made me picture a time 30 or 40 years from now when we've all retired to the Hamptons and the board is inhabited by our offspring. A new generation of BWW members, people with a passion for theatre and, through that passion, can find a common ground on which to torment, tease, and bully each other around- just like those who came before them. Keep the flame alive Erin!

Right, Matt, like we won't be pounding away on whatever tiny little computer contraptions they've come with at that point all day long on the beach?

re: Hi

i'm sure you're right. for some reason, when I picture retired life, it includes being free of these electronic leashes that bind us all. of course by then, it will be a very different world in which the pretentious oldtimers will lecture the kids about the good old days of classics like Rent and Wicked. which makes me try to imagine the shows the kids will be obsessing over at that time. which makes me want to remove my eyeballs, ear drums, liver, and heart. but we're getting into a different conversation, this thread is a happy one for billygoat.
