When measuring your height, do it first thing in the morning after you get out of bed. You are actually taller by up to 6/10 of an inch because you spine decompresses during the night when you are laying down. Try it sometime. It works!

Another hint for short people.
Tall people HATE it when you ask them to fetch things.
Also, in this day and age, being short is mostly an advantage.
In this world of cars, planes, and twin beds, my knees are crying out in pain.
