Oh sweetie, I'm going through the same kind of thing right now (except not the new country part, but new environment and away from everyone I know). It will get better. As for your attenae--what seems to be wrong with it? On mine I have to put it in different positions for different stations (no more channel surfing for me), so maybe try that. I'm sorry I'm not more help with that.

I just wanted to add my sympathy on your feeling homesick, and to say that I -like everyone else on here - am very impressed by your courage coming to a new country to pursue your dreams! Go for it! =)

As for your antenna - is it hooked up right? A lot of times you have to get a little adapter and hook the antenna directly to the cable jack on the back of the TV. And yeah, turn it around for each different channel.

awww i'm so sorry *hugs* I can't imagine moving that far away from my family. I'm sure you will adjust soon and feel at home

My friend called me today right before my ccm audition and I cried my eyes out, haha and ended up forgetting the last verse to my song that I know inside out!!!
