Homosexual rant#0

Posted: 10/27/04 at 4:46pm

I was just watching TV and an ad ran for the congressional race. I HATE people. It was a republican ad slamming the deocratic candidate for every pro-gay stance he has taken and trash him for it. That was the WHOLE add... bash the homo only.

Homophobes piss me off.
Thank you.

Politically speaking, it's a dumb move. Even Dubya's been trying to now come off as a moderate-right-of-center, as insincere as it is.

I'm sorry BG. Some people are so STUPID and MISCONCIEDED and REFUSE TO CHANGE THEIR VIEWS.

On a bright side, after reading my question to gays post my grandmother now understands homosexuality.
If a 76 year old can change her view, anyone can

Guido, there has never been such a shameless promoter of his own harem...

But you know we love you.

BG2, I'm sorry. Some people are just driving me up the wall- my history teacher was certainly shoving his agenda at us the other day in class.

hey I don't promote the harem...I didn't hire them, they just can't help but love me. It's my nature, i suppose.

Telling him about it is promoting, Guids.

Oh, the irony... what did the transexual say, BG2? Just curious what the show was about; I don't watch Dr. Phil.

It was a female to male transexual discussingw hat it was like groing up and being atracted to women but knowing he wasn't a lesbian and how he has to deal withs ituations and people shutting himn out now once they find out about his past.

OH!!!

Is this the one where they talk to the father who became a transexual and how his family coped with it and eventually embraced him?

I take it that this happened in Texas. It kills me that the Republican party can run these bigoted local campaigns and get away with phony inclusiveness on the national level.

same ad that claimed things like "so-and-so is too liberal for texas... he supports gay adoption rights!" ect? because that one came on during the oprah "my husband's gay!" episode, and i found that ironic...

It's a simple fact that national-level politicians have more mainstream views than their local counterparts, simply because they have to appeal to more people. People start to freak out when they sense a crazy at the national level.

Today in school I heard one of the most depressing things ever. In creative writing class we're writing limericks, and we broke off into groups to write multi-stanza ones. One of the groups wrote one about a "fag" which they went on to rhyme with "shag" and "sag" or something to that effect. And everyone else laughed. I swear I was the only one horrified by the word, and the negative connotation they were giving.
