Posted: 12/11/05 at 7:55pmI've heard terrible things about the Paramount, but there is a great hotel I'd recommend to anyone: The Hotel QT on 45th in between 6th and 7th.

Did you use Expedia and sort by price? That's what I did to find Hotel 31.
I stayed at Hotel 31 this weekend. It was fine. Small, but fine. The staff is very nice. It's not that close to the theater district, but there's a metro station a couple blocks away, so it doesn't take long to get there. You share a bathroom, but it wasn't a problem. And with the price, it's totally worth it.

I have an even broader question -
Is this bed bug infestation I've read about really as bad as they say? I'm bringing my niece in early February and I'd love to be able to stay the night - but only if I can do so 'bug free'. (And of course, I'm also always broke. So money is a big consideration)
