It has been DECADES since I had any awareness of 'House' culture - but I've always respected the work they do and the support they give to each other. And they ALWAYS have the best time

Hey, Addy
Boobs - I wondered if you might wander down to the Woolf theatre
Maybe Beav will wear the lovely leather and chain number so you'll recognize him!

My boys are getting fiesty - leather, wax, chains...
El, I have to see - it's 50/50 right now.
I just got back from Bebe - she was great tonight. A couple of flubbed lines, but who cares? She has that star quality, for sure. I'll have pics and a review up eventually - aka, tomorrow (today)
Hope everyone is having a great weekend! (I think I may even have a date/he's-older-than-I but-really-nice-and-maybe-just-wants-to-be -friends-but-I-don't-think-so-kind-of-date.)

Morning all....coffee is flowing ....a wet day here, but nothing is gonna rain on my parade today !!!! Now I must go get ready and get my butt into the City. I'll fill you all in on Robbiej tomorrow.
BTW..."Chitty" was fun. As far as I was concerned The Baron (Mark Kudish) and Baroness (Jen Maxwell) give us adults the only reason to want to see this show !!!! The effects, sets, and costumes are tremendous too !!! What possess people to want to clap along when they're singing "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" is beyond me....just stomp your foot and enjoy the song..annoying people !!!! Sorry, but when everyone around you is talking like they are in their living rooms it's hard to enjoy anything.

Posted: 4/30/05 at 10:18amOoooh that sucks Boobs. That would have pissed me the *f* off! Is it worth the price of admission overall or should I stay home and just enjoy Dick Van Dyke, Sally Anne Howes and Lionel Jeffries from the comfort of my bed?

So Seattle is getting Wicked... eventually... Sept. '06. SO... do I try to see it in DC at X-mas, try to go with my sister to NYC for my b-day, or wait until Sept. We'll see...
*continues fine tuning the proposal for the "most worthy of your miles trip is Seattle* for Shira*

Beav, I LOVED Chitty, too! Still haven't gotten around to reading the reviews, but frankly, I don't care what they say. I agree with Boobs, the clapping along with the Chitty song is pretty much the only thing that bothered me. THE only thing. Of course, this is all coming from someone who adores the movie, and has been waiting for the musical to come over the pond ever since it was announced for London. Boobs didn't mention that he got coherced into doing the stage door thing last night. Wonder what that means? Had to wait a bit for Mr. Esparza to come out, but he finally did and he's looking mighty fine, I might add!
M - I think it's worth the price of admission, but I'm pretty sure I'm one of the few adults on the board that does.
