Walking, okay. Skiing -- yay! I suck, but it's fun to watch me scream (just ask some friends of mine).

As for hiking...does it include mountains? And dirt? I could, like, break a nail...

Blech, I'm not THAT much of a princess. But I might consider hiking...

(Am I coming off as big of a brat as I feel? I guess I'm not such a woodsy gal...)

Ok... I'm #1 gullible man. I thought you LIKED to hike. We can skip the hiking. Yes... hiking would include dirt in the mountains. And streams. And waterwalls. But we can also just drive to the top of the mountain instead of hiking.

Thinking Rainier is awesome in the summer... as is Mt. St. Helen's. And they just reopened Johnston Observatory. (it was closed due to the recent eruptions)

DD - the TRUTH is that Shira is completely laid back and willing to do most anything if it sounds fun and enjoyable - and she can even have interesting and invigorating conversation while you're doing it!

Ok... we'll wait 'til you get here, find out which phase you're currently in, and we'll take it from there. Believe me... I can do the outdoorsy stuff (kayaking, hiking, etc.), sight seeing thing, shopping, theater, chilling by the pool... you name it, I'm game. Just don't ask me to jump off a plane with you. I draw the line at jumping off planes.
