i spent the day getting re-acquainted with the music of Olivia Newton-John. what a beautiful woman and what a beautiful voice. i was seven when i first heard her on the radio and my cousin Sylvia wore out "Have You Never Been Mellow". then i saw her in "Grease" and had a major crush on her.
it's too bad she's not as high profile as she was in the 1970s and 1980s, but she's gone through alot and proved herself a fighter when she beat breast cancer in 1992.
she still records, but most of her recordings are released in Europe and Australia nowadays. she still looks as beautiful as ever.
my top 10 favorite Olivia Newton-John tracks from the 1970s:

Posted: 2/3/05 at 2:30pmi'm thinking about getting some of her newer recordings. she did a duets Lp a couple of years back and has a new one out now. i think i'll get them thru amazon. i had forgotten what an incredible vocalist she is. i think she's so underrated nowadays.

it's funny i was watching "the wedding planner" the other day and in it J.Lo's character said if the bride and groom use "I Honesty Love You" as their wedding song their marriage is doomed to last!
if you listen to the lyrics this song is about an extra-marital affair...
the lyrics read:
"I've been hanging around here a little more than I should we both know I have somewhere else to go..."
