Happy Friday is right! YAY!
For some reason I'm singing, I'm a little bit country, I'm a little bit rock n roll in my head this morning. I have no clue how that popped into my brain today. No offense to beacon, but I hope something else takes its' place soon!

I thought you were. Tell him we said hi and we're not even all that mad that he hasn't found 1 teeny, tiny second to poke his head in and say hi to us.

Hi dgrant! Hotlanta is quite cool this morning, but it is sunny.
How are things with you? I miss your Tin Man avatar that you used when you were pretty new to the boards. You'll have to resurrect him for me sometime!
Say hi to Boobs for me when you see him!

Good morning, Mom - Boobs and I shared lots of hugs, so you'll get plenty of California lovin' when he gets back home

Morning, all. A postcard from Manhattan. Saturday am.
The helicoptors overhead are extremely annoying this bright, beautiful, cold Saturday morning in Manhattan. All for that damned Gates project of Christo's. I friggin dislike it! Forced down our throats with all the press/media hype to turn into a two-week media event. Self-serving fake, in my opinion.
Last night Meagan Mullally at The Allen Room. Her show was simply self-indulgent. Someone said, "...like a sixteen year old at her own birthday party who was given a band and allowed to sing any song she wanted." How else does one explain a program that contained...blues, country, jazz, folk, Traditional, religious ("Ave Maria"), and pseudo art songs?
Two Broadway songs which were the highlight of the program:
1. The Barbara Song from 3PENNY. Terrific!
2. The Grass Is Always Greener from WOMAN OF THE YEAR. A duet with a former co-star, and surprise guest, Elaine Stritch.
Yes, Stritchy was there. It brought down the house.
The program closed with a Randy Newman song, "Guilty." Then she did two encores, "Ave Maria" and "The Grand Tour," a country song. Go FIGURE!
Rosie O'Donnell, Christine Baranski, and someone else were at the early show, as I was told.
Boobs, hope you're having a great time!
Cheers! J.

Hey, everybody. Thanks for the bagels, mom. DG, sounds like you had fun. Hope you all allowed plenty of time for this meeting. It flies by so fast trying to catch up on everything when you meet in person.
Hope you're all having a great Saturday.
