I used to loathe Ted the first couple of seasons. His whole status as the lead felt kind of forced. I enjoy the more ensembly and sillier role in the group he's adopted in the recent seasons. Though I suppose anything that leads to more Barney-centric episodes can't be too good of a thing.
Jason Segel can still do very little wrong in my book.
