So my sister and her best friend basically got me COMPLETELY hooked on this show. I'm only on the first episode of season 2 currently, but binge watched the first season streaming online over about... 4 or so days. haha

And yeah, this show is BRILLIANT. Adorable, hilarious, witty, smart, and just... wonderful <3 And this is coming from someone who doesn't tend to be a sitcom kind of person! I mean I adore Scrubs, but other than that I tend to be more into the hour long shows.

Anyone else love this show? How I Met Your Mother- the LOVE thread

(oh and, I would never ask people to not discuss later seasons/the current season just because I haven't seen them yet, but if you're gonna chat about a spoiler from something later on in the series, please just give me a quick warning so I know not to read further! haha)

*goes to finish watching season 2 episode 1* :)

you might not want to read it cause it has major spoilers.

I just got season 3 and I need to watch it again. and I can't wait till the show comes back after the holidays.

The show is so addictive. I love it. And Neil Patrick Harris is just the cherry on top of an incredibly awesome sundae.

An incredibly awesome sundae? Really? You're a fan of this show and you wouldn't say that the sundae was legen- wait for it, and I hope you're not lactose intolerant- dary.

I've been a HUGE fan ever since Season 1, this show never fails to be funny. I have the DVDs and I love to pop them in every now and then.

Anyone notice what my avatar is about? =]

Just started watching it (although I did watch the Britney episodes). I'm a huge fan of Neil Patrick Harris- he's brilliant on this show! They are showing reruns of the show on Lifetime starting Monday- I'll have to go back and see what I have missed!

log13124: so true!! How could I have missed that opportunity to use one of my favorite expressions?!?!

and shannon bo dannon, your avatar is Jonas Brothers (I think). What does that have anything to do with HIMYM?

Dre---look more closely at Shannon's avatar.....

Shannon...that was my favorite part of that issue of Entertainment Weekly!

Love this show. I think, in a way, it fills the gap left behind by "Friends". But is completely its own show.

Lol thank you singingwendy! I could not stop laughing at that photo when I got my issue. I'm not a Jonas Brothers fan, but it was just too funny.

I've watched this show since the beginning, and while I never found it hysterically funny, it's somewhat consistent, with the exception of certain episodes which sometimes fail to be funny at all. The show also has a lot of heart. Season 1 has been the best so far, and I'm really enjoying this current season.

Wait until you get to the Robin Sparkles episode.

shannon: wow, you really have to look close at that picture. haha, I love it!.

I didn't see the Entertainment article on them. I did the Christmas TV Guide where it says that Cobie and Alyson both said that they are pregnant. The writers don't know how to deal with it yet, but could it mean that Lily and Marshall will have a baby and maybe, just maybe, something will happen between Robin and Barney and she gets pregnant? what do you think? should the writers pretend that there is nothing, or will the pregnancies be featured in the show?

I think they'll write it in for Lily and Marshall, but I don't think a baby is in the cards yet for Robin. Maybe she'll go out of town again for her job, or they'll hide it with big sweaters and grocery bags.

It was Spoiler Alert, one of my absolute favorites. The glass-shattering moments are all classic. And once again Barney is uber-fantastic, though I kind of prefer Marshall and his awesome musical moments. Literally.

And I absolutely love this show. I generally despise anything with a laugh track and at first this show seemed way too family-friendly and clean. After watching the very first episode, I was hooked. Updated On: 1/3/09 at 12:21 AM

Oh, Spoiler Alert! I love that one! Just hearing the glass shattering effect and then all of them being like, "Oooh you do!!" Way too funny.

Does anyone know the day it's coming back on TV?
