How Long is the "Finding Nemo" Line at Disneyland These Days?

Posted: 8/4/08 at 12:50amI hardly waited all in April. I think it's really died down.

I went at the beginning of the summer on an EXTREMELY crowded day at the park and the line was still longer than most rides. It varied from an hour and a half to two and a half hours for the whole day. But it has died down a lot, it's nowhere near as bad as it used to be. I assume if you went on a less crowded day, like a Tuesday or something, or arrived early in the morning, the wait wouldn't be bad at all. :)
I still haven't been on it. I'm going back next week though, so hopefully the line will be short.

I don't think you'd see a wait time anywhere below 40 minutes. Usually, it's around 1 hour to 1.5 hours. Just get there around 20 minutes before park opening, and head straight to the ride for minimal wait.
However, Finding Nemo really is a D ticket ride. It just isn't that thrilling or fun compared to, say, the new Toy Story Mania at California Adventure. If the wait is more than 1.5 hours, don't do it! All you do is sit in this claustrophobia-causing submarine and stare blankly at the screen.

For those of you who remember the Nautilus ride, it's basically the same thing. They've just cleaned everything up a lot, and added the characters from Nemo, and a few new screen-projected special effects.
It feels more like the "same old ride" than a new one. So it was nostalgic for me, since the Nautilus ride has been closed for a long time.
I think once the "new" factor wears off, this ride won't have huge wait times. I rode on it off-season in March, and our wait was 40 minutes.
I don't feel like I have to ride it again for a while now. I'm sure most people feel the same way.
