I have "It's Your Wedding Day" permanently etched in my head - for the last three days I haven't been able to get it out. I listen to it, hoping to satisy the itch, doesn't work. I listen to other things - I keep coming back to it!
Is the only cure going on It's a Small World???

It's the song that never ends...it goes on and on my friends! Some people, started singing it not knowing that it was, and just continued singing it forever just because...it is the song that never ends...

I'd rather have an earworm than hear/read the word earworm. It gives me the creeps.
Same with eargasm.

I agree Rath..that is a creepy phrase. I don't know why..but it is...
Jason..I say just give into it. Listen to it non-stop, everytime you want to. I've found this is the only thing that makes the a song get out of my head.
(Personally, I think I'd be checked into the institution if I had that song stuck in my head for 3 days...but to each his own! 
)

Wow - didn't realize I was being such a d*** with that one. Sorry :)
And it's still not better - I woke up singing the song this morning - seriously. This is bad.
Then again, it's better than that time I had The Internet Is For Porn in my head and I kept ALMOST singing it in front of my students.

This made me laugh...because I've almost done that too.....or had it playing on my laptop during my prep and then a kid walks in..... It's also why I didn't choose to set my itunes to "sharing" until the kids were gone from the building...I can just imagine the expression of the computer teacher when they went to pick songs for their imovies!
