I sat in gum. Now I have white gum on the butt of my black jacket. How do I get it out?
The "best" way is with baby oil. But on a jacket that may not be an option.
Go to Manhattan Wardrobe Supply and pick up a bottle of gum remover--better than Goo Gone.

Put ice on it until it freezes and pick it off.

Freezing is great. The cans of Chewing Gum remover "freeze" it but it may not be good for apparel. (We use it on carpeting and pew upholstery.)

first of all is it a washable jacket? If it is use and oil based product to get it out, then to get the oiol spot out use dish soap. Otherwise you will always have that oil spot on the jacket.
If it's not washable you can try freezing it of, but I'm not sure it will all come out.
Thank you all!
I used a goo-gone type product, now my jacket smells like paint thinner. But the gum is gone!
