I can't date someone Abercrombie model hot. Just can't. If I ever got my hands one someone that hot, all I'd want to do is do the mcnasty, and I don't like that. But then I can't date someone ugly cause I wouldn't want to look at them at all.
Is anyone else this way?

Ok, this is coming from a highschooler...
I cant date someone really hot (or popular) because they are usually fickle with their relationships and are just really out there if you know what i mean. I cant date someone ugly because (not to sound vain) would hurt me socially.

There is no such thing as too hot. The only thing hotter than too hot is captain obvious. And then probably RodneyK.

I've dated models, wanna be pop-stars, actors, blah blah blah. But I've found with most of them - the insanely beautiful ones - that they love themselves too much to love anyone else. I like guys that have little "flaws," it makes them more adorable. I'm not talking about like, no fingernails or bad acne, but something cute...

The man is sexy. I wish they would find a good script for him.
He deserves to be in a great show.

It's very rare to find an incredibly attractive man or woman who isn't completley in love with themselves....
I've dated many a 'hot man' in my day and unfortunately all but one of them was completely full of themselves.

for me, hot sends up a big old warning bell...the bell that says "they may be the the gym/spa/doctor too much to care about anyone."
also, sociologists contend that people who are "hot" are more often than not trying to cover up some internal flaw. I have dated a few model men, and they (without exception) proved this rule to be true.
I say this: Date people because you have something in common with them, and you will be MUCH happier. Especially gay guys -- if you want the world to stop thinking we're shallow -- STOP BEING SHALLOW! Date someone not perfectly built...they will treat you better, they will love you more, and their beauty will increase with age. It's an investment worth having.

To expound upon what Marquise said...
I believe you have to be involved with someone you're attracted to. However, I also do believe that once you get to know the person they are, their views and philosophies, you become even more attracted to them (been there, done that).... When outer beauty fades, it doesn't matter to you. If you're with a person just because of how they look and not for any other reason, when outer beauty DOES fade, you'll become disinterested and move on. But if you're in love with this person as a whole, who they are as a person and then how they look (secondary to anything else) you'll always be in love with them, despite what may happen to their exterior.
