Harty-har-har. Canseco is an incredible sleazeball who can't believe that players can be good without taking steroids. I'm not saying his eyewitness accounts of players shooting up are untrue, but when he doesn't have any eyewitness proof it seems if a player is good (like his supposed friend Roger Clemens) he'll speculate he took steroids, and if he's not too good (like Ben Grieve) he'll say he should have.

I have mixed feelings about Canseco. I find him to be irritating and crass. But at the same time I think he actually serves his purpose. People are actually discussing steroids, maybe now MBL will take testing seriously.
