Buffalo: Cold, Rainy, and windy--as the utility crews and National Guard continue to assist in our recovery from last week's storm.

Still no power at my office so I do a lot of work from home where, thankfully, I was without power only 36 hours.

it's not all bad news- the nasty icky rain here in brooklyn gives me an excuse to wear a trench coat and high-heeled galoshes that i would normally not get away with wearing, were it sunny. unfortunatly, the wind likes to beat up my umbrellas, despite my constant swearing that one of these days, i'm going to buy a wind-proof one. at least the city looks beautiful when it rains...

I'm in Rochester, which is indeed "up there" from Pittsburgh. It's raining now, but we got our first snow last week.

Right now, it's still sunny, and now it's 70 degrees. And there's a lovely breeze.

Up here in Albany, it's miserable. Rainy, cold, dark. I wouldn't care except my umbrella broke ten minutes after I left the house.
