How to... Auditions?

I'm fairly new to theatre, but that hasn't stopped me from being cast and involved in everything I can at school. But I do have one question: What is a proper audition like? My teacher has never gone through that with us, which has resulted in me being afraid to branch out of high school theatre. So here are some of my biggest questions: How do I name the song? I've seen people say the composer and song title, or just the show and song title. Where do I look, since I can't look at the director(s)? How do I make a repetoire (that is the correct name?)? Can I move around??? Or is standing still better? Those are the bigger ones, thank you guys!!!!! I appreciate help.
