I'm just throwing this out for real responses.
How much would you be willing to pay to stay (per night or per day/week) in a person's very small, but fantastically located studio apt on Central Park West, w/kitchen, bath, air mattress, across the street from Central Park, 8 blocks from the Museum of Natural History and Zabars, (and the entire great upper westside of (manhattan)? Bus in front of the bldg. and subway 2 blocks over, 5 minutes to the Theater District. Just asking for a friend who might consider subletting for short periods of time. Thanks.

I will give you thirty dollars a week and a treat receipt from Starbucks.
Subletting on an air mattress? Hell, I'll pay $50 and your choice of one off Broadway ticket from TKTS!

Also, I don't understand why Q doesn't come in to answer a question that was clearly addressed to him.

Some people (posters) seem to make being confusing their calling card (signature). Also, I don't get random and arbitrary abbreviation. Like you'll spell out fantastically but not building? Or question?
At any rate, I would be happy to collect a weekly stipend of $550 to stay there.

By the way, tell your friend there is no way they can make it to the theater district in 5 minutes from that location.

Surely they don't mean you SHARE the teeny studio with the current tenant? DO THEY?

For some reason, this came to my mind:

I know exactly how it feels since I used to live in a studio that size but it was only me staying there! I paid $450/month in the beginning and it gradually increased.. after 3 years it was $570. However I don't live in NYC.. guess that doesn't help huh? =OP
