HUZZAH!
I am so freakin' excited. My wife is going today after work to pick it up. It is a 2007 Chevrolet Malibu. It is the first new car that we have bought (our cars were given to us when we were in High School/College).
Here is a picture of what it is (except the one we are getting is Grey)

Congrats, I am in my late 30's and have never had a new car. My current car is a 1994!

Mine's a '96 Bu. Don't run into any mailboxes and she'll be fine. :)
Well, as I stated in a few threads this month, my car officially died, so we were just using my wife's car. Yesterday, I was taking her home from work and something fell on the road and all of a sudden, I couldn't turn the steering wheel. Her belt broke and we already had to get her water pump fixed (which all together would be around $1,000), so we just decided to get a new car now than later. I can't WAIT to drive it.
Over_the_Moon--I heard those are really good cars? How has your experience been with it?
geez brd, how bad of a lwyr are you?
oh, and congrats spider.
Thanks RobbO!

I've actually had quite a few problems... I wouldn't worry if I were you, though. Mine was used, and has had to survive my driving since before I got my license (ouch).
Well, the great thing about the place that we are getting it from, they have a 100,000 mile warranty on all of their new cars. Most places around here only has up to 60,000 mile warranties.

Robbo, it is a firm car that runs perfectly, with repairs, so I am running it into the ground.
To answer your question, not so good!
it's so preeeeeetty. *_*
congrats spidey.......
I was 47 before I had a new car......
Well, I wish I could have gotten to 47 before getting a new car, but fate had other plans.
Congrats on your new car! This must be the season...
I just leased a 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe two weeks ago. Love it! I told myself I would never get a Hyundai again, after that piece o' crap Excel I had in the early '90s. But this one's big and purty... and black... I call her Effie!
(she looks like this... only black and shiny)

ALL new GM cars now have a 100,000 mile limited powertrain warranty. Be sure to have all the routine maintenance services done and DOCUMENT THEM so that if you do have trouble you won't get thrown under a GM bus.

I recently purchased a 2007 Honda Fit. It's darling, roomy and great on gas. It's so compact, it parks anywhere!
