I Lost My Prescription Sunglasses This Morning

I kept them in a pocket of my backpack and had taken something out this morning. When I got to work this morning I noticed that it was open and the sunglasses were gone.

Years ago I was on the concession line at a Brooklyn Cyclones game and the guy in front of me switched from sunglasses to regular ones and I noticed that he had his cell phone# written in the case."Thats a great idea" I told him and wrote my name,cell# and Thank You down in the case that I had.

The moment I noticed that they were gone, I checked my phone and the man that had found them had called me. I'm going to pick them lunch time and buy the guy a lotto ticketin thanks.

So if you have glass cases, put your cell# down. Some good soul will return them.

So I went to The Hammer Gallery where he works and he wouldn't accept the lottery tickets.. But now if I win I'll return and give him a million bucks.

Stories like this are a nice bit of mitigation to all the human douchebaggery in the world.

And that's a smart idea to put your info in the case.
