I Love My Car and I Hate My Car

I LOVE My Car because it gets FABULOUS gas mileage.


I HATE My Car because its a '99 Hyuandi and I know I'd be a lot more sexier and desirable if I owned a Jaguar or Mercedes convertible.


Not that I'm implying that the men in my life are shallow or anything...

i LOVE my car because it's my first car and one of my favorite colors and HATE nothing about it :) it's a maroon '93 chevy corsica.



... yes, that's my dog sitting in the front seat... this is what happens when i get bored. she went for a ride with me and my mom. lol.

edit: those pictures don't really show the color off very well... it's more purple-ish in real life

I always hated my minivan - I mean how romantic is that. So, I traded it in on a brand new BMW, but so far it hasn't changed anything.

I LOVE my car because it was free, it never gives me any trouble, and I pay next to nothing for gas.

I HATE my car because it doesn't exist.

hmm, okay my 2 cents. I went years without a car, as I never wanted the expense......heck I even lived in Detroit for 6 years without a car.
Then I won salesmen of the year for 1999, and the award for that was a 2000 Mercedes C280.....The day they delivered it changed my life.......work paid the insuarance and car payment......and for a year I was thrilled.......
Then, after a year, when I had to leave it off at the local dealership, I realized that one year with a car means you never are "call-less" again.". I'vr had two new cars since then....both Toyotas....I keep intending on getting VW's.......but never make it there.
I hate having a car payment, I hate paying for insurance, I hate paying for gas.....but I am now hooked.......
I long for the old Chicago and San Francisco days when I didn't need a car.

My car gets great milage, but I've found other cars to be more efficient when going up hills and going really fast. It's a toyota prius...'04.

My dream car is a '66 red mustang convertible, but I like VW cars a lot and was thinking of a bug or a GTI down the road.

I haven't owned a car since I moved to NYC in 1993, and I don't miss it. The more I walk, the less time I have to spend on the treadmile. Plus, gas prices are through the roof today. The only downside is that if I need to travel (like, to my parent's home), I have to rent a car.

heh. I love my car because:
-It gets 30 MPG, which is glorious.
-It's covered with Car paint from my friends who bought car markers, so the memories are fond
- the color is nice
- it smells good inside (like cinnamon!)
- The console is filled with candy
- The air conditioning takes 45 seconds to cool off

I hate my car because
-The air conditioner switch knob falls off
-It burns oil like a mother
-the wipers are bent so only one works
- The steering wheel literally will take off skin when it gets hot
-it only holds 13 gallons of gas, so even with glorious gas milleage, you have to fill up alot
-The trunk is filled with crap (but that's my fault)
-and I have ugly carpet

melissa, I envy you.......I loved having no car or insurance payment.......and if I had to rent a car a few times a year, it was worth it.
