Stephen Lynch is in this one too.
Is it me, or are they really running out of steam with this one? Nothing seems very funny to me, and the jokes are really reaching for it.
Did any of them actually experience the '70s, or are they just reading it all off of cue cards now?
When they dig up the bomb Man of La Mancha as a featured film to discuss for 1972, they're at the bottom of the barrel of stuff to talk about. Come on!

Nepotism is only unfair when it helps other people.

Posted: 7/12/06 at 1:09pmI thought the 70s one was the one that didn't need a second installment. The 80s and the 90s ones had funnier things to go off of. Not specifically more memorable, but more fresh in people's minds.

Posted: 7/12/06 at 1:09pmI like the first installments, but everything after that is kind of lame

I hope they talk about Rocky Horror Picture Show tonight for 1975.
I want a giant floppy disk.

The '70s were PLENTY funny! I just think none of them were actually there to laugh about it now.
I'm still holding out for "I Love the '30s! The Depression-Schmession Edition"

Posted: 7/12/06 at 3:53pmMost of the humor stuck around, I think. I was born in '76 and most of it really made me laugh. Of course, I was raised in the south, so we were probably a few years behind.
