She never fails to say something Bitchy each day on her tv show.
Today, when speaking with Shania Twain, she asked her about songwriting.
Shania: It's like cooking, you never know what you're going to get.
Martha: Not if you follow the recipe.
Lol, she is the worst talkshow host ever. I love it!
And her Apprentice has not been picked up for another season, there's a shock.
I think she's divine. I don't see why people "hate" her. I can see one not being into her, but if she illicits hate out of you, you need to see a therapist! :)
I love Miss Martha--her "horse durves" book is a masterpiece. I wish she'd be REALLY nasty on her show instead of trying to be nice and warm--it's not her style. I want the exacting, ruler-snapping, perfectionist back!
Part of the problem with a lot of singers today is that they follow a 'recipe' far too closely. Martha should know that a little improvisation is key to success!
It didn't get better than Renee Fleming trying to teach her to sing, though. You gotta give Martha props for putting herself out there ...
Martha is so fun to watch, sometimes she says the most wonderful and bitchtacular comments.
And she always butts in when somoene else is cooking, and tries to change the recipe.
Haha, that too. Martha can't accept change very well. Look at her and that damn ankle bracelet. Didn't she take it off a couple times?
I've watched her show a couple of times, and each time I can't believe how self centered she is. She'll ask a guest a question, the guest will begin to answer, and then Martha butts in and begins to talk about HER experience with whatever she just asked.
I'll always remember one of her earlier shows years ago, when she had these children in her kitchen for "easy Christmas cooking and crafts" and she looked extremely stressed the entire time as the children were NOT following the frosting recipe. I thought she'd go ballistic on this poor four year old who DARED to use black sprinkles to decorate his polar bear ornament, instead of white.
her smug, "i can do no wrong" attitude is what is a buzzkill for me so i'm glad that she is experiencing some defeat. maybe she'll actually learn a life lesson and come back to reality sometime soon.
Off-topic, but regarding the self-centered comment...does anyone think Tony Danza is really self-centered with his talk show? Everything comes back to him in the end (it seems.) I also get really embarrassed when he starts singing.

Did anyone see the episode of 'Ellen' when she did a guest spot? They cooked up 'Martha's Autumn Bounty'. Loved it.
What I can't believe is that some people can't believe that Martha butts in or says self-centered comments. Did you expect any different? She has never made any apologies for who she is - you get what you see. That said, I love the woman more than I probably should.
Yeah, since when did Martha listen to anybody else? She's the tastemaker folks! She don' need no stinkin' badges!
Perhaps "can't believe" wasn't the right term to use...Maybe I just keep hoping that someday, she'll let a guest answer the question she asks them! She just can't shut up and let someone else talk.
I watch for laughs...it's so much fun watching a control freak try to maintain a calm exterior while they watch in horror as someone deviates from "the way" of the recipe. I've seen her scold her own mother for measuring by memory!
NBC just said for her " it's time to leave " for her Trump rip off show. This phrase simply does not match up with " you're fired" ( either one or more @ a time)
