The mother of WH Press Secretary and Current Texas Comptroller (and former Democrat) is quitting the Republican party to challenge the sitting governor as an Independent.
She has called Governor Perry a "a weak leadin', ethics ignorin', pointin' the finger at everyone blamin', special session callin', public school slashin', slush fund spendin', toll road buildin', special interest panderin', rainy day fund raidin', fee increasin', no property tax cuttin', promise breakin', do nothin' phony conservative."
This could be fun. She is the mother of White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan and of Mark McClellan, who is currently director of Medicare for the Bush Administration.
