I am a daddy!

Truman, a 5 lb. 5 oz malti-pom (his father is a Maltese; mom is a Pomeranian) arrived at my house on Saturday. He is three-months-old and is an early birthday present (Saturday, June 11).

I have never tried to put a picture in a message before, so please forgive me if it does not work. In any case, there are two images of him in my fan photos.

Isn't he cute?!?

DBIlly! What an adorable baby! It's fun to be a papa, isn't it?

Also, if you ever have issues with photos here, upload your photos for free at photobucket and paste the links...it works like a charm everytime and gets around the issues with BWW filenames.
That dog is adorable. If you ever bring him up to the Big Apple, Elphapug would love a doggie date!

Thanks bway! Yes, I ended up using photobucket. It does seem to work like a charm!

It may be a while before Truman earns the privilege of a trip to New York. Please don't tell anyone, but he slept through the Tony Awards! Imagine a father's disappointment ...

Oh, Dbilly, you have no idea...you try to raise your baby to be gay and fabulous...and my dog will have none of it.
He's 100% straight. He loves girls and, though I take him to Chelsea and steer him towards the hot boys, he always heads to the girls.
*sigh*
He doesn't even get why I like the Tonys. It's a lost cause.

Congrats DBilly! He is adorable! Just keep playing cast recordings, and you might change him yet.





Question: Does he have hair or fur, and does that effect whether or not he sheds? We are trying to convince my mother to get a dog.

He has longer hair, similar to a Maltese of his age. The key is that neither Maltese nor Pomeranians shed, so we should be good to go with this one!

LittleFish, just check with any breed you're going to buy. You'd be surprised what dogs shed and which don't.
I thought my little short-haired pug would not shed. In fact, pugs are notorious year-round shedders.
