TO ALL OF YOU WHO POSTED SOMETHING NEGATIVE ON THIS THREAD...
I hope you're happy. I hope you're happy now. I hope you're happy how you've hurt Bundy forever. I hope you think you're clever!

Bundy - welcome to the world of theatre! It can be very interesting, entertaining and invigorating. And don't judge the theatre community by a few opinions that exhibit a lack of perspective.
We all were brought to this subcommunity in a variety of ways - and ultimately it doesn't matter what brought you here, just that you're here now.
I'm glad you had a good time - it certainly does seem to be a popular show! Now, hopefully, you'll be intrigued enough to try out some other things. Do you have a theatre program at your school, or is this more an 'audience appreciation' interest?
And please feel free to participate on the board. Sure, there will be some who react the way you've seen, but not everyone will - kind of like life in general.

Bundy you learned a lot today: All theatre people are bitches. Every. Single. God. Damn. One. Of. Them.
In honor of your loss of innocense, my favorite Andrew Lloyd Webber joke. From the Simpsons, of course.
Homer has been rescued from a horrible fire by his cat. He's being interviewed by the local TV anchor. He says he's a "Cat Person" now and much prefers cats to dogs-- he loves everything about cats. He'll be using Cat-Sup instead of Ketch-up. The anchorman says "Then you must love the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical "Cats!" and Homer screams and say "Oh GOD, NO!"

Thenardier: That made my day.
Bundy: Wilkommen. The world of theatre is a wonderful, diverse place, and I hope you enjoy your stay, and continue to explore it. However, a thick skin is key (especially on BWW). I'm glad you enjoyed Spamalot- I did too.
For the record: I have friends who had to play "highlights" from The Phantom of the Opera in band a few years ago, and don't know who Andrew Lloyd Webber is. It could always be worse.

I saw SPAMALOT in Chicago way back in December, and I seem to recall another ALW reference - something to the effect of "...an entire stage filled with cats? That would make no sense at all!"
Can anyone with a better memory tell me what that line was - if it still exists?

Posted: 6/26/05 at 4:42pmI don't remember that line, Jon (I saw it in NYC, in March). That doesn't necessarily mean anything, though...

"well yes i am a kid 16 to be exact and I dont get out much."
im 16, i practically live on my couch because ive been very sick for a really long time, i hardly ever get out, and i could write an ALW biography. people who know nothing about musicals know all about ALW.
im not trying to be a bItch about it, but its really surprising that someone doesnt know who he is. especially someone on a theatre forum.

Funny, it showed up earlier today and there were only two posts in the thread, for about 5 minutes.
I said something about how I'd never seen this thread before and was bumping it 2.5 years later because it was funny.
