I just joined a local theater group. The last time I was ever on a stage was in 1981. The group basically puts on original plays dispeling the myths of mental illness as well as comedy improv. I admit I did it on a whim, but I am glad I did. Hey, I just lost 150 lbs. in 5 months and I wanted to show it off in public. { stripping was out of the question} I will let you all know when I am performing on Broadway!

I know it is way off broadway. However, I did start acting in kindergarted when I played an old woman who churned butter in a boot.
