I know I read this here. I saw an article that said George W was attending the matinee of Hairspray with his wife. They didn't let the media know for security reasons. Now I can't find it. I found the one that said George senior and Barbara were attending but the other one is gone.
Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Nope! It even had a quote from the show about cheating to win a contest is unamerican and the author wondered what his reaction was going to be.

Don't forget Poppy Bush is the biggest flip-flopper in American political history. He was strongly pro-choice before Reagan asked him to be VP. During the primary race, he called Reagan's economic policies "voo-doo economics" and then strongly supported them after the election. He said during a state of the union address "read my lips, no new taxes" and then proceeded to support them. He's all over the map this one.
The fact he (now a big ol' conservative) saw a musical with a man in drag is not surprising. He married one.

So, I was right. W was in the audience for Hairspray this afternoon.
I wasn't seeing things.
What a relief!
