She has a fine voice for someone who originally rode the Britney pop tart wave to fame. Also, she's a fine actress. She might not be the next big Oscar "thing" but she's appealing and charming.
She was also lovely on Scrubs when she performed in a long arc as Braff's girlfriend.

Oh, Mandy Moore. Love her. I actually bought her Coverage CD, with real money. Also, her terrible old pop music somehow made the movie Center Stage that much more enjoyable. As if the foxy old Broadway vets weren't enough.
Remember that time she sang Suddenly Seymour with Adam Pascal and she sounded really terrible because she was distracted and blinded by the lights reflecting off his bejeweled ladyjeans? That was awesome.

SuzyQzy, no one is asking you to feel sorry for her. I do wonder, thoguh, why it seems you feel that if you're not feeling sorry for her you have to feel spite for her.
Oh, and "legal somewhere hottie" is the best thing I've read all day, JohnPopa.
I used to think Mandy Moore was really greasy looking, but I don't anymore.
