I had a Mojito toast in BWW's honor this weekend to thank everyone for their advice that helped to shape my long theatre weekend in NYC over the last few days!

Donna Murphy's performance in Wonderful Town - what a talent!
Marveling at the beautiful decor of the Al Hirschfeld Theatre
Brunch at Aquavit
Catching Gavin Creel at his 11:00PM "Unchartered" show at ARS NOVA
Richard Dreyfuss' performance in Sly Fox
The White Asparagus appetizer at Wallse' in the Village

Lowlight:

the hosts at John's Pizza - can you say "inefficient"?

Surprise:

Catching "Wicked" on Understudy/Standby Night (Laura Bell Bundy, Kris Cusick, Sean McCourt were in for Kristin, Norbert, Joel - and Eden Espinosa replaced an ailing Idina in Act 2). All of these folks were very good.
