OK, i know I'm not the most frequent poster, but I'm just a little worried now as my ENT says I have tiny nodules, very tiny and ones that should go away with a few speech exercises. I'm still worried though. Will my voice completely recover - is it more common that you'd think?
I'm just hoping that it's not like I'll never have my singing voice back to what it was.

Don't worry! I have a friend who actually became a better singer after she had nodules. Why? Because she was paying more attention to technique and vocal health. Let whatever caused your nodules teach you a lesson.

So she completely recovered? It's just that you hear so many people saying that their singing voice never really goes back to the way it was. Now he did say that mine were tiny and would be gone with a few exercises, and that i wouldn't even need to go for speech therapy, so I guess my chances are pretty good.
To be honest, there's been no major change in my voice, just a little bit of breathiness and harshness but there's other problems in my nasal passage contributing to my vocal problems too.
Thanks bwaylvsong!

stop singing, stop stressing, stop smoking, and you'll recover.
I'm inclined to believe that the people who tell tales of "my voice was never the same" probably weren't all that to begin with.
Kinda like the way I talk about my dance injuries.
