I had read that since her career had been in relative disarray and that she had "points" on the film, she did everything she could to get people to go see "Baby Jane." I never dreamed she'd go on Andy Williams and sing such a dreadful song.
It ended up being a hit though.
What was the name of that Bway musical she did again? I see the cover of the cast recording in front of me but the title escpaes me.
this was her Bway OCR:
and this was her solo album:
Ouch.
That makes me want to drink.
Hello, is this Johnson's?
I want to order some liquor...
I'd like to order six bottles of Scotch and three bottles of gin....and as soon as possible!

Does anyone know who WROTE that song? Her performance is fine with me actually- it's that horrible song!
Joe, it was written by Frank Devol. He wrote all the music for the film. The song was released as a 45 on MGM records.

For Joe, and those of you playing along, Frank De Vol also wrote the music for Pillow Talk, The Thrill of It All, Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte... and of course, the Brady Bunch.

he also did the orchestrations for the Ray Charles & Cleo Laine PORGY & BESS!
Best12, I knew I had seen Music by De Vol on tv credits.

The question is, who on Earth could play Sweeney?
