I got a ticket to London for $485 round trip and then from London to Edinburgh for $60 one way. But keep in mind I'm going in the fall so If you're looking for for summer it's going to be more...plus I'm flying out on a Tuesday so it's a cheaper fare.

How can they see with sequins in their eyes?

The park is Princes Street Gardens, and is really beautiful in the summer. The "colisseum" is Edinburgh Castle. The cliff it's on is, if memory serves, an extinct volcano.

BTW, Princes Street is the "borderline" so to speak between the "Old" Town and the "New" town -- with the latter dating back only to the 18th century. The older part dates back even further. The oldest part of the Castle, St. Margaret's Chapel, was built in the 1200's.

I just booked a late night "ghosthunter tour"...that should be fun hehehe...an hour and a half of underground vaults...graveyards...and mystery!
