Well, the other day I decided that it was time to clean my room, especially my drawers and my closet, which are both a mess! So, I found so many things from the past few years that I forgot I had. I found my dads old playbill binders. I am taking original cast of Fiddler playbills!!!!!!! And I noticed that Bette Middler was one of the daughters! I found playbills for Applause, Raisin, Deathtrap, Sleuth, Cats, Annie-Original Cast, Dracula-the play with Frank Langella, and so many others!! Then I found tapes that I made with performances from Broadway on Broadway, The Thanksgiving Parade broadway performances, and I found a few older tonys. I actually was watching one of the Tony's and it was the year that Norbert Leo Butz was nominated for "Thou Shalt Not" and I was like "Oh my god!!!!" I completely forgot that he would be on that tape. And I found a segment that I taped on the today show when "Les Miz" was closing. It made me sad, lol. But I had so much going through all of my stuff. I now have 2 boxes of playbills and 2 bags of playbills, and a drawer of special signed playblls. I just thought I would share. I was really excited, lol. :)

I hope you're able to hang onto them for a few more years, they'll always make fascinating reading and different names will jump out at you on different occasions.
I was in the Australian version of the Frank Langella DRACULA, and one of my greatest thrills was buying a souvenir programme of the Broadway production at One Shubert Alley a couple of years after it had closed and seeing my photograph in it! So I may not have played Broadway yet, but my picture has!

The more of these things I get, the more I wonder what to keep and what not to keep.
I am trying to fight my pack-rat tendencies, by throwing out old playbills, etc.
Now you joy is making me want to keep everything.

I know, originally I was going through a lot of stuff to get rid of it, but I couldn't. Plus, when I found all of this stuff, I was like a kid in a candy store!!!!
