How much do I love and miss my Martha at this time of year? Now I'm no maven of domesticity and have never attempted all those Martha holiday recipes, crafts or pine cone wreaths but I've enjoyed seeing and taking from her show those bits that I think I can incorporate into my very own winter wonderland.

About two years ago I decide to have a true Martha Stewart Christmas. I love how K-Mart has everything coordinated to make it possible. And in so many shades of color. I went with the teal...matched the carpeting. So I got the tree skirt, stockings, ornaments, garland, even icicles...everything in shades of teal, cream and gold. And damn if it doesn't look beautiful. Even have coordinating wrapping paper and ribbon for the gifts under the tree. I feel so....so....Marthaish.

Now on to the Cheesecakes and Creme Brulées for food gifts for friends and neighbors.

And yes, Namo. I left the tree lights on for you.

Now Martha can only decorate her cell...

haha. that makes me laugh. I'd love that tree skirt in iron bar, please :)
