I've just discovered my library's selection of plays. The county has an online catalogue system, so the only plays I've ever seen are the ones at my local branch... but online you can view their entire collection... and it's surprisingly good! Because there's nothing I despise more than a poor selection of plays.

oh boy....you are just now discovering this? No one has ever mentioned an online catalog to you?

Here's an even better one....in some states you can even borrow from other libraries in the state.

i loved my high school library because they had erotica.... i mean beacuse they had a wonderful selection of educational books.

elphie- Of course I knew about these online systems! I just never realized before that they actually have a decent selection of plays. It's difficult to browse "plays" in their system... you end up with a long list of irrelevent material. You have to search individual playwrights, which it time consuming but rewarding.

They are called "inter library loans." You can get almost anything that way. All kinds of media, tapes, dvds, videos. IT's FREE too. I used to get text books during college that way.
