Posted: 2/10/06 at 7:51pmhmmm, weather.com says no snow until Sunday.......oh well.....what will be, will be.
#7re: I'm, going from 80 degrees to
Posted: 2/10/06 at 7:51pmIt starts tomorrow. Gets bad tomorrow night into Sunday.
#8re: I'm, going from 80 degrees to
Posted: 2/10/06 at 7:54pmMy expectation is that it won't be as bad as forecast. It seems that whenever they forecast a severe snow storm, it doesn't materialize, and vice versa. Then again, I might've been living in the NW too long where they can never get the weather right except to say that there's a chance of showers during the day.

Elph, what time are you scheduled to land? Forecast I heard a few minutes ago, said it's not expected to start until 3ish, maybe a bit later.
Rath, it's fun to walk the beach in a snowstorm! I love the way the beach looks covered in snow.

Once upon a time, whenever there was a blizzard or snow of any kind, that's exactly where I could be found. Out walking about with the pooch. Of course, I didn't live in a rural area, so there was no chance of getting disoriented and lost, etc. In my advancing years, with my newfound "wisdom", I can now be found watching the storms through my living room windows, curled up on my couch with my blankie.
