I need an older cell phone to use as a prop......

Hi all!

I am assistant directing a play called 'SubUrbia' by Eric Bogosian. I'm getting my directing credit for school and I really need it, since I am unable to take the directing class.

Anyways, the show is set in 1995 and I need a 1995(ish)-style cell phone. In my mind I picture one similar to the one seem in "Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion" (Hey, If anyone needs to make a call, I've got a phone!). I know that I used to borrow my mom's phone and call her to pick me up from band practice with a phone exactly like that in 1997-1998.
If you have an even older model that would be even better!

Does anyone have one that they could part with for a little while? I will pay to have you mail it to me and pay to send it back once the show is over in May. Can you help me?

Sorry, I can't help you with a physical phone, but last year my high school did a cell phone drive where people donated their old cell phones to the school, and there were TONS of old school cell phones. If there is some sort of drive like that going on in your area you might be able to hit one of those places up and get a phone. Not sure exactly how you would locate that sort of thing, but maybe that can help. They ARE out there!
