By seeing THE READER, a great little movie that I hope won't get lost in the Oscar shuffle. A very thoughtful meditation on the various "What If"s of the Holocaust. What would YOU have done in that situation?

THE READER was brilliant, as were all the performers. Winslet and David Kross both deserve Oscars for their work.

I'm intrigued by your little one sentence synopsis. I wouldn't really describe this as a film about the Holocaust. Of course, it's a theme and a piece of the film. But I'd say the film is more about regret and its power.
