And, to augment the wisdom of Iflit ... people come and go so quickly here. Dare to stick around a while, and you'll acquire a modicum of cynicism about the "bullies'" power over you -- and some resiliency. Or not. The people who keep chips on their shoulders sometimes turn out to be the best, most impassioned posters.

Now hold on...

When you're in the thteater and the person sitting next to you does something that really bothers you, how do you react? The average, devoted, theater-goer will pull out a pistol and shoot them. The same mode of behavior should apply here.

AlmostThere, you post that one of the rules is to post with courtesy and common sense - doesn't that include:
- no insulting PMs,
- don't sign up on many screen names
- don't be a shill and post many many many pointless topics because you feel the need to promote a show
