I was in the city for the past two days because I had my w/s interview at school...this means that for the most part it was very boring. After the interview I then walked to the 42nd st. station because I felt that I owed it to myself to walk thru times square. In the TS station and GCS there was a prayer table set up and signs like "pray today" or something like that. There were scary people in red aprons. Anyway, I'm trying to make my way to the S shuttle to GCS and this woman chases me down because she NEEDS to pray for me today. So I told her I had a plane to catch, etc. etc. and she stopped me and prayed out loud to God that I have a safe trip (but not before asking me if I'd already accepted Jesus as my savior....truth, be told, I was afraid to say No.) and I almost missed the shuttle...but I didn't. so I took the subway back to my grandparent's apartment, watched...Houdini I think...w/ Tony Curtis...anyway watched something where the guy dies and then made my way BACK to the airport.

The plane ride was horrific. I mean, I thought we were gonna die. The turbulance was so bad they had to ask the flight attendants to take their seats as well, like, 3 times...It was HORRIBLE. And there was lighting...I mean, I didn't even think we were gonna stay in the air after 30 seconds being off the ground we kept STEPPING up instead of staying at a steady incline...we were DIPPING and LOSING ALTITUDE the ENTIRE trip. It was NOT fun. But I was sitting next to nice people so that was alright.

I think I might owe my being alive to that woman who prayed for me in the red apron at TS station...but I think my grain of salt is calling....
