I turn 18 on Sunday!

Do any of you know any special ways to celebrate in NYC? My problem is that even if I show my ID, people will still not believe I'm 18. I could barely pass for 14.

It doesn't matter what they think you look like. So long as it is not a fake id they have to accept it. Nowadays there are ways to esilly figure out if it is a fake or not anyways


I would suggest buying an adult magazine a lotto ticket and a pack of smokes. Not saying that you do or should smoke. More for the factor of I can do it now.

When you turn 21, that's when you should be excited.
I always have the problem where people think I have a fake ID, when I was 18 I looked 12 (people at the bank wouldn't let me open an account because they really thought I was 13 or 14), and now I'm 21 and look 17 so even after I get into a club, the bartenders double check to see if I'm really 21 when I order drinks...
Oh well, I'll figure it'll come in handy when I'm 40 and look 30.

... when i was 14, i looked 19, and the drinking age here in nyc was 18, but it didn't matter, because if you could reach the bar without having to sit on a phone book, they'd serve you.

i'm not even going to tell you where i spent my 21st birthday (... but i did wake up the following day wondering what happened to my pubic hair...)

How old do you have to be to get into clubs in NYC? In Fl. you could get in at 18..so being 18 started my so called gay party life. That was long ago... Good luck on the lotto, but I will win Mega Millions on Tues.
