DG, I hear ya. Modern R&B doesn't do much for me, but if the only male voices I could ever listen to for the rest of my life were Donny Hathaway, Sam Cooke and Marvin Gaye, I could deal with it. And Roberta Flack is divine. Talent and class all the way.

Anyway, I LOVED this theme song, and have so much affection for this show. Sure it could be cheesy here and there, but I love that there was actually a time when school kids could look at other school kids on television that didn't look like they stepped out of a fashion magazine. In it's heyday, after Molly Ringwald and the Cindy Brady lookalike but before "Edna's Edibles" and Bev:

Blueroses, the first time I saw Jason Castro I immediately thought of Nancy McKeon! I love the Facts of Life. I wish they'd churn out the dvd seasons a little faster!
